An established financial company is looking for a Network Technician to join their infrastructure team. This position has arisen as a result of growth, and is a brilliant opportunity for an eager candidate who thrives of challenges.
Some of your key responsibilities for this position will be:
- Network systems monitoring and troubleshooting
- 1st &3rd line support for various data centre & client issues
- 1st & 3rd line support for desktop issues
Some of the key skills the client is looking for are:
- At least an Hons degree in a Computer Science based degree
- A CCNA certification (or of you are working towards it)
- A Microsoft certification (or if you are working towards it)
- Knowledge of information security standards
Key experience
- 18 months commercial experience with a minimum 6 months experience as a network administrator
- Configuring and troubleshooting issues with Cisco/Juniper Network products
- Exposure to server hardware and desktop support
