Care / Support Worker

A fantastic opportunity to work as a Support Worker in a large residential Care Home.  General duties will involve assisting residents in their daily routines, encouraging them to learn new skills, and attend internal and external activities, encouraging them to maintain relationships with family and friends, escorting them on days out or holidays, assist in the preparation of meals.  The successful candidate will ideally have 6 months previous experience in Care work, an NVQ2, is sympathetic to those with learning difficulties, a desire to support and encourage, motivated, industrious and has a willingness to learn.  Benefits include and on-site gym, free meals and parking.
