Production Engineer

Our client is looking for a production engineer. This role consists of working in a multi disciplined role working in a team to cover production and some support to sales.  The primary role will include;

• creating schedules and issuing jobs to the shop floor
• having a technical understanding of the product and the applications and giving technical support to spare part requests
• technical internal sales support
• assisting in quotes and costing
• Using CAD to prepare some basic layouts.

Ideally you will have a technical backround in an engineering environment or at least to have been involved in manufacturing or materials handling.Full training will be given on all products.  There will be opportunities to progress as the company moves further into the European Market Place.
